En la obra de Ana Silvia se destaca su mayor interés por retratar escenarios de la naturaleza como son flores, hojas árboles, animales. Algunos realistas otros minimalistas con movimiento sobresaliendo en la pieza tonos fríos y otros en alto contraste jugando con una extensa gama de colores que hacen que las piezas sean muy coloridas.


Ana Silvia trabaja mediante la realización de diversos bocetos que son transformados en objetos reales, elaborando objetos utilitarios pinturas, joyería usando distinto materiales y muy diversas técnicas unas de las aplicaciones más usada es el esmalte a fuego sobre metal.


El esmalte a fuego sobre metal cristal compuesto vitrificables o fusionable que es aplicado sobre un cuerpo metálico como es el oro, plata y cobre, auque en la actualidad se puede aplicar en otros metales.


Las técnicas son variadas las más comunes son carga húmeda y seca y las temperaturas que se usan para fundir el esmalte ronda entre 700 y 900.
